Jahar Asad founded TRMM to help individuals and families make confident homeownership decisions by bringing education, real estate and mortgage financing together under one trusted resource.
Jahar is an Independent Mortgage Loan Officer and Certified Down Payment Assistance Specialist and Certified Reverse Mortgage Specialist with NEXA Lending. He is also a Realtor®, Nationally Certified Buyer Agent Expert and Strategic Pricing Agent with Moselle Realty Group Powered by Epique Realty.
His real estate and mortgage work is strengthened by years of corporate experience with Citigroup, where he served as a Real Estate Portfolio Supervisor. Before entering this chapter of his career, Jahar spent more than 25 years in mental health and retired as a Mental Health Team Leader serving children, adults and families.
Jahar earned a Bachelor of Public Administration from the illustrious HBCU Grambling State University. His background in public service, corporate real estate operations and mental health continues to shape a client-first approach rooted in education, listening and practical guidance.
Jahar is an avid fisherman, hunter, beekeeper and gardener. He loves to travel and has a goal of pursuing pilot lessons to fly general aviation aircraft. He has spearheaded food giveaways, assisted with community needs and believes strongly in giving back.
Jahar resides in Sophia, North Carolina, a rural community near Greensboro, with his wife Nafeesah. Together they have six children.
